Honor Care Pros show grace and resilience during March

March is the month of luck, and we feel extra lucky to have these Care Professionals as part of the Honor team. We’re grateful for their resilience and dedication to their Clients. And we’re excited to showcase their accomplishments and recognize them as this month’s Outstanding Care Pros.

As usual, it was hard to single out just one Outstanding Care Pro from each market. To do this, Client Managers and Care Pro Relationship Managers look at each Care Pro’s record of dependability, consistency, and positive visit reports, as well as stories of Care Pros going above and beyond our already high standards. The 19 Care Pros who are ultimately chosen also stand out for living the Honor Values:

Los Angeles Anna Montero Anna embodies our value, ”Care Starts with Connection.” She shows up with a positive attitude and Clients love having her visit. Anna has been with Honor for nearly a year now and has consistently been a top performer. She’s always on time and is willing to help out when we ask. Orange County Grace Njuguna Grace embodies Honor’s value, “Care Starts with Connection.” She has been with her current Client for almost three years and their relationship has become like extended family. She’s always there for her Clients when they need her. Recently, she went above and beyond by rearranging her schedule to provide live-in care for one of her Clients while her other Care Pro was out of town. San Diego Rebecca Hill Rebecca walks into a Client’s home with the intention of becoming their biggest advocate. San Francisco - East Bay Tsigereda Shibru Tsigereda is an all-star to the families she serves. South Florida Angela Samuels Angela exemplifies Honor’s value, ”Care Starts with Connection.” She embodies this value, working four overnight shifts a week with her long-term Client. Recently, Angela filled a shift for a Client with dementia. The Client’s daughter told us that right away, Angela sat facing the Client, took her hand, and introduced herself looking directly into the Client’s eyes. Angela’s ability to not only connect with Clients but to also make that connection her top priority, left a positive impression on this family and gave comfort to this Client. Melanie provided exceptional care for her, especially at the end of the Client’s life. The Client’s family came to rely on Melanie's consistency and attentive care for their loved one. Since her Client’s passing, Melanie has been stepping in to help with many other Clients for fill-in visits and same-day urgent shifts.
